Sky Q, the broadcast giant’s latest TV platform, has been available for a number of weeks, but only if you’re already signed up to the company’s broadband services.
That’s just changed though, with non-Sky customers now able to jump on the multiroom-friendly, conventional TV-advancing, fluid viewing-enabling service.
“Customers with other broadband providers as of today are able to place orders and will get Sky Q installed in the coming weeks,” an official Sky spokesperson told us.
This means you can now sign up to the new Sky service even if you’re happy to hold on to your BT, Virgin or TalkTalk internet package.
Although not offering any new content, Sky Q revolutionises how you’ll watch TV, letting you pause content in one room to pick it up in the same place on a second TV or tablet.
