Roku has upped its game in on-demand streaming, bringing a dedicated Amazon Video app to users in the UK.
The video platform joins native apps for Netflix, the Sky Store, NOW TV and Google Play Movies on Roku boxes in Britain – your move, Apple TV.
Roku is now the most well-stocked streaming box on these shores, boasting all of the UK catch-up services as well as the above streaming platforms.
Roku 4 users can even take advantage of Amazon’s library of Ultra HD content, but the 4K-ready set-top box is only available in the US at present.
The firm has hinted at a launch in other countries, but has offered nothing concrete regarding a UK release date.
The new Apple TV went on sale in late October, with prices starting at £129 – approximately twice as much as your average Roku box.
